Fraudulent Recruiting Alert

This Alert is issued by Ampcus to remind job seekers to be vigilant and cautious when responding to job offers. We offer steps below to follow to verify the legitimacy of an Ampcus job opportunity and to ensure you are working with a legitimate company representative. Ampcus follows a formal recruiting process with extensive screening procedures. The company does not extend credit to, or accept payment of any sort from, any applicant during the hiring process.

We are aware that some individuals falsely claiming to represent Ampcus recruiters are contacting potential candidates with job offers and summer internships. To help identify recruitment fraud, Ampcus provides the following guidance:

  • Ampcus never asks job seekers to pay any fees for any reason, either during or after the hiring process. We do not request any payments from applicants to apply for job or work at Ampcus.
  • The hiring process at Ampcus includes at least one interview, which may be conducted in-person or virtually. We do not conduct interviews through instant messaging applications or similar platforms.
  • To help job seekers identify recruitment fraud, we want to clarify that Ampcus corresponds only from email addresses with the domain “@ampcus.com.” However, scammers can sometimes display a fraudulent email address mentioning “ampcus.com,” in generic email IDs ending with Gmail/Yahoo or any other domain, so please be aware of frauds while receiving a job offer or interview call.
  • We also want to inform job seekers that an Ampcus recruiter will never request personal financial documents such as bank account details, tax forms, or credit card information as part of the recruitment process.

If you are unsure about the source of a job offer, please login to the Careers section on the Ampcus website to verify the job offer. If you believe that you have been a victim of recruitment fraud, we urge you to contact law enforcement agencies. You can also report this fraud to the Federal Trade Commission at ReportFraud.ftc.gov
