Job Description :

Design, develop, test, implement and modify software applications by applying fundamental computer science techniques. Analyze and prioritize business requirements and conduct customer workshops. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities utilizing Agile Software Development Methodology. Create shareable libraries which improve the effectiveness and efficiency of software development groups. Participate in validating written code through code reviews with unit tests or other automated testing techniques. Document all aspects of written code, including how to build and use the software. Develop Test Automation Frameworks using multiple programming languages (Java, Python) and scripting using open-source libraries. Develop and customize Test Automation suites using licensed frameworks such as UiPath, Power Automate. Develop & review Test Plan, Test Strategy, Test Execution Plan/Strategy, and Test Data Management Strategy. Conduct functional testing and Test Management using a variety of Testing Tools, such as ReadyAPI, JIRA/X-Ray, etc. Mentor software developers and work on Skills/Resource Development. Participate in pre-sales solution designing, and Proof of Concept/Point of view areas. Troubleshoot/debug Software Production/non-Production issues. Provide System, Database, and Network Administration support for the applications/product under continuous testing or in production. Work with relational/non-relational stand-alone/cloud databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Progress DB, MongoDB, in-Memory databases, Dynamo/Aurora, and other popular cloud databases. Perform onsite-offshore coordination, conduct daily Stand-ups, and Customer Governance Meetings.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, IT Analyst, Software Consultant or any job title involving software development/test automation. Experience must include use of Java/J2EE, Python, HP ALM, MongoDB, and Progress DB.

Work location:

AMPCUS, Inc., 14900 Conference Center Drive, Suite 500, Chantilly, VA 20151. May be required to travel to client locations nationwide once in a quarter (3 months).
