Software Developer (#SSD-0155)

Job Description :

Analysis, design, develop, code, test and support web-based Multi-Tier software applications using software technologies such as Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Spring, JavaScript, Oracle, SQL Server, JSON, WebLogic Server, Unix, Windows and related tools. Gather and analyze user and system requirements. Participate in creating technical specifications. Create Use Cases, Component Diagrams, Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and Workflow Diagrams. Code and implement various software components and modules to implement software design. Perform data modeling to design logical data model and implement it in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server database management systems. Create database tables, indexes and constraints; write complex stored procedures and triggers, and tune database queries for maximum performance. Design and code Graphical User Interface (GUI). Prepare unit test cases and execute unit testing. Enhance/tune and maintain developed software. Provide technical support and troubleshoot operating problems.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field and 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, Programmer Analyst or any job title involving software development using Java/J2EE technologies. Experience must include software development using Java/J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Spring and JavaScript.

Work location:

AMPCUS, Inc., 14900 Conference Center Drive, Suite 500, Chantilly, VA 20151. Travel/relocation to various unanticipated client locations throughout the US may be required.
