Senior Technical Architect (#STA-301)

Job Description :

Architect, design and implement technical solutions for company’s customers and stakeholders, helping to fill the communication gap between technical and non-technical specialists. Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Cloud/On-prem end-to-end architecture, including/ any one of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure and future providers, networking, provisioning, and management. Assist in invigorating technical innovation to drive smart solutions to support a collaborative and innovative culture to provide customers with optimal solutions that meet their strategic goals. Provide strategic recommendations and ensure that the solution fits the defined purpose by collaborating with and being a part of the project management team. Work with cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, scalability). Communicate and provide thought leadership in Data Strategy, Technologies, Engineering to Business and IT leadership teams and stakeholders. Bridge the gap between business and technology. In partnership with Product Owner(s), Stakeholders and other Subject Matter Experts, work with technologies such as Cloud Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Analytical platforms, and solutions. Define modern data eco system, considering current and futuristic data needs. Work closely with all business areas to capture BI (Business Intelligence Data, Analytics and Reporting) requirements based on business objectives, initiatives, challenges, and questions. Translate user stories into wireframe designs of the dashboards. Provide advice on technical aspects of BI development and integration, including the operational and maintenance aspects of systems under development, and proposed system recovery procedures. Ensure that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices are applied correctly. Support the Reporting & Analytics team to respond positively to proposed data initiatives, arising from the Information Governance Group, and provide the necessary support and expertise to deliver such initiatives. Provide ongoing support and implementation of change for the Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) solutions interfacing between the applications. Apply enterprise data management practices and principles. Analyze data to provide insights for internal and external stakeholders on improving the Performance. Use of JAVA, J2EE, JavaScript, React JS, Next JS, ORACLE, MONGO DB, Azure Cosmos DB, Oracle PLSQL, Azure Cloud, AWS Cloud, JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, GitHub and related tools.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math or a related field and 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Technical Lead, Software Developer or any job related to software development. Will accept a bachelor’s equivalent based on a combination of education, experience or professional credentials as determined by a professional evaluation service. Experience must include software development using Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JIRA, and Oracle.

AMPCUS, Inc., 14900 Conference Center Drive, Suite 500, Chantilly, VA 20151. Occasional travel (once or twice in a quarter) to client locations nationwide.
